Email sent to Congressmen Doyle & Lamb:
Drug prices are out of control, and the Medicare doughnut hole only makes them worse. It punishes sick patients and drives Americans on Medicare to choose between groceries and their prescription drugs. I personally have struggled to afford my prescription drugs, and I was grateful when you and your colleagues voted to close the doughnut hole earlier this year.
Now I need you to stand strong against the pharma lobbyists asking you to roll back their contribution to the doughnut hole. Congress needs to stand with patients, not with drug corporations.
Hold your ground –– help patients like me and keep the doughnut hole fix for 2019.
