Senator Browne,

Pennsylvania State Senator Patrick Browne,
During the Pennsylvania Chapters of the National MS Society State Action Day one of our priories was the Livable Home Tax Credit. At the time, only the House version had been introduced. As you are aware the Senate version (SB 853) was introduced on August 29, 2017.
As a member of the Pennsylvania Chapters of the National MS Society Government Relations Advisory Committee and an individual affected by Multiple Sclerosis, I thank you for co-sponsoring SB-853 the Livable Home Tax Credit. Home modification is a costly endeavor and the costs escalate as a person’s disabilities progress. But it is more cost effective for an individual to stay in the home than it is to have them reside in an assisted living facility.

Thank you,
