State Senator responds to my request to cosponsor Home Modification Tax Credits

Dear Mr. Austin:

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns with me regarding Senate Bill
853. I always appreciate hearing from my constituents on the legislation and the policies that affect
them.

Senate Bill 853 was introduced by Senator Yudichak on August 29, 2017 and is currently being
considered by the Senate Finance Committee. The intent of this legislation is to help residents,
particularly senior and disabled residents, seeking to make home modifications that would improve
accessibility and enable them to remain at their current residence. Thank you for taking the time
to bring this legislation to my attention, and I will certainly keep your thoughts in mind should it
corne up for a vote.
